This policy covers Emerald Burst and this website, made by ZotixSoft LLC ("we"). It explains what information is handled and why.

The short version

We don't sell your data, show ads or track you. The only personal information involved is what Epic Games shares when you sign in to the Epic Games Store version, and it is used only for achievements.

Epic Games Store version: Epic account sign-in

When you launch Emerald Burst from the Epic Games Store, the game signs you in with your Epic Games account through Epic Account Services. Epic shares your Epic account ID and display name with the game. We use these only to record and show your achievements, through Epic's own servers and overlay. We don't store, copy or share this information anywhere else.

Epic Games' handling of your account is covered by the Epic Games Privacy Policy.

Information stored on your computer

The game saves your progress and settings in %APPDATA%\EmeraldBurst on your own computer. These files never leave your device unless you move them yourself, and you can delete them at any time.

What we don't do

• No analytics, tracking or telemetry
• No advertising
• No selling or renting of personal information
• No cookies or tracking on this website

Other stores

If you buy Emerald Burst through a store such as itch.io, that store handles your purchase under its own privacy policy. The non-Epic versions of the game don't sign in or connect to the internet.

Children

We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Epic account sign-in follows Epic's own age and parental-consent rules.

Your choices

You can unlink Emerald Burst from your Epic account at any time in your Epic account settings under "Apps and Accounts". To ask us anything about your data, email us.
